What stays on your phone

Your gratitude entries, your photos, your tags, your emoji garden, your recipes, your wishes and your name are stored in your browser on your device. The app has no accounts and no server that receives them. If you clear the browser's site data, or use “Start over” in the app, they are gone. “Export everything” saves a copy as a file you keep.

What travels when you give

A Gratus Gift is packed inside the link you share. The link carries the emoji, the days it took, the phases it passed through and the dates, one short line from an entry on each of those dates, the count of your entries about that emoji, your tags, the message you wrote, and the name you signed. Anyone who has the link can open it. Choose what you put in a gift with that in mind.

What we do not do

We do not run analytics, ads or trackers. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your browser's request for the font files. Links to partners such as Giveth.io open their sites, which have their own policies.

Later

When a backend arrives, this page will change before it does, and giving through a server will be a choice you make, not a default.
