Find Common Ground.
For the hard days: a couple after a fight, a family after a loss, cofounders who stopped talking, a team after a bad quarter. Nothing scores, judges, times, or decides. It structures attention.
The one rule
A plant becomes Common Ground only when at least two members plant the same emoji and each accepts the other. Until then it is one member's plant with one root. Ground is never bought, never claimed, has no size and no price.
Common ground can't be planted alone.
Three screens
Start Your Garden (plant alone)
Each member privately plants up to three truths. The picker foregrounds truth seeds (💔 😔 😤 😢 😨 🙏) beside gratitude seeds; a hurt may be the first thing planted. Nothing is visible until everyone has planted.

Planting alone first removes the audience. A truth written for no one is more true than a truth performed for the other person, and a gratitude planted after a truth is one the person actually has.
Find Common Ground (see the overlap)
Only overlaps and near-matches are revealed; each member accepts per plant; accepted overlaps become common plants with the Vesica. No overlap is not a failure: Grace offers one prompt (What do you both want to protect?), each may plant one more, two rounds maximum, then the session ends kindly.

Revealing only overlaps means neither person sees the other's whole hand. Nobody is exposed; what is shown is already shared. Double acceptance means the overlap is a choice, twice, not a coincidence.
Give And Grow With Grace (tend together)
A shared week: each day any member may tend a common plant with a private entry and an optional one-line note to the group. The plant grows only on days someone tends. The week ends as frames.
Presence, never absence.

The plot shows who tended today as lit roots. It never shows who didn't. A week that grew three days is a week that grew three days; the four other days are not drawn.
Any member may invite one more person to tend at any step (a friend, a guide, a mediator): simply a member.

What the protocol never does
It never scores, ranks, or times anyone. It never shows one person's entries to another. It never shows who did not tend. It never decides who was right. It never sells ground. It never ends a session with a verdict; it ends it kindly, and the plot stays.
The Common Pool and the vote
When a member tends a common plant, that day's Today's Growth goes to the group's Common Pool instead of their coin (a per-group toggle keeps growth personal). Monthly, the group votes, one member one vote, among three: give it to a member, give it to a cause, or keep it as the group's seed fund. Ties keep. Results show as roots lighting, never as a bar chart.
