What is here

The Gratus Garden with the Fibonacci forms and the eight families. The Gratus Journal with recipes and Gratus Grace. Daily Gratus from the Pool. The Gratus Ground and the bell. Friends, QR, Send Gratus, Gratus Gifts. Gratus Groups and Common Ground. Gratus Give with causes. The Gratus Store, with waitlists. Marks, exports, the Season book.

Growth has a pattern.

$GRATUS, the stablecoin.

A fully reserved dollar issued through a licensed stablecoin-as-a-service partner (1:1 reserves, monthly disclosures). Reserve growth splits between the company and the Pool, so the Pool runs on the float and is still paid by presence, never by balance. Redeem opens; card purchases open.

Why presence, not balance: equality by design. Every garden tended gets the same share, so a balance buys nothing here. That is also the legal line drawn in 2025–26 between activity rewards and interest, and this design stays on the safe side of it.

Stable money, growing meaning.

Gratus on Dash Platform.

$GRATUS and gifts move to a Dash Platform token and data contract: scheduled gifts as programmed distributions that open on a date and must be claimed; freeze/thaw for compliance; transfer notes public, shared-encrypted, and private-encrypted (the app's privacy model, native to the chain); token-based document fees for spam protection with the platform paying gas; two-operator control groups over mint and freeze; handles verified against Dash usernames.

Identities cost credits, which makes bot farms expensive by design. Usernames are transferable assets. The ecosystem already settles there. The handle format, Name.Dash, was chosen now so nothing changes then.

Gratus Grows.

The public Gratitude Map: what communities are grateful for, aggregated and anonymous (opt-in; no area with fewer than 50 gardens; emojis and counts only). A poll asks what people want; a garden shows what they'd hate to lose.

Preference revelation: what people tend every day is a truer signal than what they say they value. A city could learn from its own gardens.

Gratus Grace, deeper.

With consent, Grace reads the week and writes the Season letter. The four practices gain a fifth the person names themselves.

the fifth practice, proposed

Return β€” what I return to. Notice sees what is here; Name says what I feel; Tend keeps what I keep; Give passes it on. Return is the practice of coming back to the same thing on purpose: yesterday's thread, last year's entry, the plant that has waited. It is the practice the garden itself is made of.

Gratus as the ecosystem's dollar.

Motus.Market, DashSupport, Votus dues, and other settlements priced and paid in Gratus, so every product feeds the float that feeds the Pool.

later

Gratus Groups at scale.

Budgets, invoices, an API, a Slack/Discord command (/gratus @name 🌻 "thank you") so gifts start where teams already talk.

later

The home-screen widget.

Today's plant on the phone's home screen; requires a native shell around the PWA.

later

Seed Cards at retail.

The gift that grows twice.

later

Gardens for those we've lost.

A Gratus Group opened in someone's memory, tended by a family together; the gentlest use of Common Ground. [the owner forges the name and copy]

later

Classroom gardens.

A teacher's group with equal allowances; gratitude as a civic practice.

later

The Gratus Graph on $TRUST.

Gift paths attested as atoms and triples so a fruit's journey is verifiable anywhere; Gratus Guides (people who tend with groups; a role, never a tier) recognized for the ground they helped grow.

later

Localization.

Emoji is universal; copy is not; the copy file ships for translators.
